Our Canine Teams

A CANINE TEAM consists of an owner/handler who is at least 18 years old and his/her dog.

We accept all breeds and ages beginning at 5 months old.

All our dogs must be “stranger friendly“ and pass our basic temperament and control evaluation before being considered for the program. In order to become a certified DogAbility team, all teams must then attend 6 preparatory sessions usually held on Sundays at 10:00 am.

During the early weeks of preparation, teams will also be supervised during sessions with our participants and will become certified within 2 months after beginning our training course.

To remain a canine team in good standing, we ask that all teams attend a minimum of 2 sessions per month, either weekdays and/or weekends.

View the Guide to Certification here.

INSURANCE = $30 per year
